This Web site was originally set up to be
dedicated to solving consumer issues surrounding airline & hotel frequent
flier miles and points when they don’t come to you as promised.
The intent of this Web
site, should it expand over time, will be to become a place to learn about
airline miles and points programs, and to discuss some of the pitfalls of this
sometimes behind the scenes, but burgeoning market.
Many Web sites available today
discuss various ways one can obtain these miles and points, ways to use them in
regular commerce, and ways to redeem them for a frequent flier award (free
plane ticket, etc). However, this site is founded on something these other
sites have yet to cover:
What happens when
something goes wrong with those promotions and the miles or points don’t show
up on time or at all?
Your miles and points have
value. How do you recover a loss if someone else in charge of posting them has
made a mistake on your dime?

As
of 08-27-2006, this site is to be updated to include cases involving missing or
changed mileage & point offers that affect affinity program travelers... In
2004 and 2005 this site helped enable hundreds of customers that signed up for
defunct mileage and points programs to recover their missing earnings when the
companies in question failed to deliver. Those issues have since been resolved
with great success, but there will be others. Please come back soon or contact
the site administrator for further details, thank you.
One place to find the site
administrator rather quickly is to visit a well-know online membership forum
called FlyerTalk and to go to the Miles & Points
forum at: http://www.flyertalk.com/
